Honor Flight had a special event at the Estrella Warbird Museum which included a tour of SLO county on Betsy Bomber C-47 for some lucky winners.
2024 Sherman’s Legacy Special Central Coast Flight
Honor Flight, in partnership with Sherman Smoot’s family, started this annual event that will take place every year on the anniversary of D-Day. This event honors the bravery of all veterans and the memory of Sherman Smoot.
